Northline reads public community posts and public blockchain data about Solana tokens and turns them into a sentiment read. This page explains what data that involves, who it goes to, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we don't collect

No accounts, no sign-up, no email addresses, no names. Northline never asks you to connect a wallet and never signs or sends a transaction.

Wallet addresses you look up

When you enter a Solana wallet address, our server uses it to read that wallet's public balances from a Solana network (RPC) provider. That provider is the only service that receives the address. Results are held in memory for about 20 seconds so repeat views are fast, then discarded. We do not log, store or sell the addresses you look up, and we never pass them to advertisers.

Wallet balances are public on the Solana blockchain. Looking one up on Northline does not make it any more public, but you should still only look up wallets you are comfortable querying.

Services that help produce a report

To build a report, our server sends token addresses and symbols (not your wallet address) to these services:

Requests to these services come from our server, not your browser, so they do not see your IP address. The one exception is token logos: your browser loads each logo directly from wherever the token's creator hosts it (often an IPFS or Arweave gateway), so that host sees your IP address and browser details, as it would for any image on the web.

What your browser stores

Northline stores two small values in your browser's local storage: that you accepted the first-visit notice, and your ad choice. They never leave your device, and clearing your site data removes them. Northline itself sets no cookies (see Site analytics below for the one measurement script).

Ads

Northline is free to use and supported by crypto ads from our partner HypeLab. HypeLab's script loads only if you chose "I agree" on the first-visit notice. If you chose "Agree without ads", nothing from HypeLab loads.

When it loads, HypeLab may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies, and receives your IP address and browser details, to deliver, measure and personalise ads, and to detect fraud. We switch off HypeLab's wallet detection and never share the wallets you look up. HypeLab's handling of this data is covered by the HypeLab privacy policy.

Hosting and fonts

Northline is served through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when the fonts are fetched.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of personal data. Because Northline keeps no accounts and does not store the addresses you look up, we generally hold nothing we could link to you. For data held by HypeLab, Cloudflare or Google, please use their privacy contacts. You can withdraw ad consent at any time with Ad choices above.

Site analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page load times. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device or track you across sites, and gives us aggregate numbers only (such as page views, country and device type). It never sees the wallets you look up.

Children

Northline is not intended for anyone under 18.
